PORT ART FAIR 2023

Port Art Fair (PAF) is the first contemporary art fair organised by the Sevkabel Port team. The fair aims to promote contemporary art and contribute to the development of the city’s artistic landscape. Connecting art with its audience is one of Sevkabel Port’s core missions, and Port Art Fair seeks to deepen and expand this relationship.

The fair is divided into two sections: Independent Artists and Galleries and Organisations. The Independent Artists section brings together more than 60 artists, ranging from emerging talents to established names. The Galleries and Organisations section features leading voices and trendsetters in their respective fields.

The works presented at the fair reflect some of the most distinctive tendencies of our time: the institutionalisation of street art, sustained engagement with photography, the consolidation of a new contemporary artistic language, the digitalisation of painting, the exploration of small-scale object-based forms, and the expansion of graphic media. This diversity reveals the many directions in which artistic language is evolving, while forming a shared narrative about the present.

PAF’s visual narrative is built around art’s ability to mirror the world as it is and imagine the best of all possible worlds. Art can also reflect the individual and transform the space around them.

PAF contributes to a culture of collecting art and invites its audience to reflect and imagine.
