The fourth edition of Port Art Fair continues its commitment to fostering a vibrant artistic environment and promoting contemporary art practices. Initiated by the Sevkabel Port team, the project was conceived as a space for open dialogue between artists, institutions, and audiences.
In 2026, we turn to the idea of the “blank” — a state of new possibility, clarity, and anticipation. For the first time in the fair’s four-year history, we want to capture a particular state: the state of art, the state of artists, and the state of the market. Artists are working less and less with concepts and increasingly with sensations. We want to do the same.
We say “blank” and imagine something empty, pristine, pure and white: blanc de blancs, white from white, white on white. A state in which too much has already happened and now, after a pause, everything becomes simpler — as simple as a blank sheet of paper.
The fair brings together 47 independent artists and 48 galleries and institutions. Together, they present a broad spectrum of practices, ranging from painting and graphic art to objects, textiles, digital art, and hybrid media.
